Leaving Kino,.... southbound bypass question...
Heading out of Bahia de Kino and need some clarification as to the best southbound bypass of Hermosillo from here.
Next stop... you guessed it, San Carlos/Guaymas!
I know there is a 'short cut' back to the 15 that goes through Miguel Alleman but many have advised against it. So, I'm looking for the name of the street that I should turn right on, from SON100, past the airport, to get back to 15. Is it Solidaridad?
If not the name, landmarks??
Thanks in advance for any help.

RE: Mexico City/Vacation Retreat (pics)
I like your perspective.
Chris, verdad?
I have read virtually everything you've posted in this forum because every time I have done a specific search, it seems you have had something to offer. I've lurked for awhile here, tried to inform myself via the archives.
I've found your input to be among the most instructive and to be more specific, culturally atuned.
I just wanted to respond to this, your most recent, by saying that I appreciate your passion and your overt willingness to help others like myself, NEWBIES, ROOKIES, lo que tu diga... to dispel the fear-based BS that would otherwise inhibit......
Input like yours, and others, has led me to pull my rig down here with confidence for the first time, este temporada. And, while I probably won't make to DF this year, the seed has been planted.
I appreciate your efforts.

Current Kino RV park info?
Just wondering if anyone online here is at Kunkaak, Kino Bay, Islandia, La Playa, or?? any of the parks in Bahia de Kino?
Hoping for some current info on space availability. Inspired by the 'RV'ing Mexico' DVD and the Church's book, not wanting to commit to an itinerary, have not made any reservations and I'm a bit nervous.....
Should be there by Monday 12-3. I know, I know,... I could call the parks, pero, no tengo control del gramatica!! And, besides, I'm a newbie. Need to jump in and make a few posts on the forum, verdad?
Thanks in advance for any help.- Delfin
RE: Hermosillo Bypass Question
Thanks everyone, appreciate the help.
Will definitely follow the "mine" road route, hope there are a few spaces left by the time we get there!!

Hermosillo Bypass Question
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Have gleaned much knowledge from many searches and would like to thank all who take the time to share their experience in this forum.
Nearing the border at Lukeville/Sonoyta for maiden voyage with 47 feet and @23,000 lbs of rig (truck/5er). Currently at Emerald Cove/Parker AZ. First destination will be Bahia De Kino.
My Question: I've come across at least 2 versions of the 'Periferico' and would like to get some clarification. It seems some use the Periferico Sur, and go ALL the way around Hermosillo, and others, the Periferico Norte, (is this the 'mine' road that Moisheh referred to?) I have looked at Turtle and Toad's site and the Bells and am still unclear.
If someone (Moisheh, you out there?) could give me the easiest southbound route with a few landmarks, Pemex #'s I'd be most appreciative.
Y, algun dia, compartiremos una copa. Compraré, por supuesto. -Delfin
